Is it possible to add boost and or timing to a non-sensored motor via the ESC? Is there a good ESC that has plenty of configuration options that will run both a sensored and a non-sensored motor? I'll probably stick with a 2S battery but I'd like to be able to run as much motor as I might choose to some day.

Thanks in advance.
The Mamba Max Pro should provide ample power, and it can run well over 3S (not that I'd recommend doing this with ANY ESC.) It can handle sensored and sensorless motors. Using the Castle Link (which is not included, but is still available for FREE with the coupon that is still included in the box - they ship it, you get it in like 4 days), you can hook the MMP up to your PC and mess with brake and throttle curves/percentages, torque control, and tons of other settings to your heart's content.

AFAIK, you can add "boost", but you can't mess with the timing unless it's a sensored motor. You can find a new MMP for around $100 shipped.
