Doesnt a progressive spring have dual rates of compression and this would be stated by the mfg if they where? Going from a softer spring rate to there higher rate of compression as its compressed? For me I nvr bothered to try them because I always was under the assumption that they where both linear spring rates and that there shouldnt be any difference between the two.

Given all the above though. I am going to go ahead and try them myself.
