On a short track like rctech,the core would shine.The Hobbytown track is almost twice the size so the core can only be geared so much to try to keep up with the Monsters.If tuned correctly it can be close but not quite.
As far as Tsurudas mini,he always says he can beat people with substandard electronics and equipment in his Tamiya class cars{f201 and Mini}.In the Mini class he is a good driver but he always gets beat by drivers who are not even near as good as he is.His car is a thrown together.Not a good way to win races.All I will say is he will never beat me in mini no matter what he does.
