3racing shocks are a little better than stock but, in my opinion aren't really worth spending money on.

a spool is basically a locked diff, the big difference being the spool will last along time, but a stock diff locked will ware out pretty quickly because its not intended to be used that way

as for how it handles, the spool lets you get on the power sooner to pull the car out of the corner faster, personally i like the way it steers that way and if you look at a lot of high end cars they all come with front spools these days.
