Ok guys,,,, it is offical i now own and run a CLOCKED Nova engine. Not just any Nova engine, Neal did his first BUGGY specific mod on a P5xlt and ,,,,,,,,WOW !!!!!!
Neal and i have been talking for sometime now about a smoother power house for the buggy. I had mods done in the past by Neal on my OS motors and liked his professionalism and knowledge of engines. I finally got him to go against his religon and build something LESS wicked than the useual clocked BAD ASS
For anybody that has considered getting a Clocked engine for their buggy, well now there is one designed specificly for the buggy driver. I drove this motor today at Race World for 1 1/2 quarts and i am honestly VERY impressed !!!!! I have ran OS engines for 3+ years now and have ran their Pro mod, .21 speed vzb and Xz .21 speed, as well as the .19 XZ speed. That being said, this "Buggy" Clocked P5 xlt is as smooth as my speeds with way more top end and a VERY strong mid range. I ran it with the Nova 9886 pipe and the short smooth header with a 7mm restrictor, even after all day running this thing still has a ton of metal to metal pinch. Even with it having pinch and running the stock plug it was broke in on i was getting 13 min. 10 seconds per tank, this was a extremely dry slick very fast layout track. ( avarage laps were 17.5 not ideal for run time)
As this thing breaks and drops its nut$ i will post a follow up and let you know what the real run times will be.
Just ask Neal for the Buggy P5

Affordable and reliable with the performance that perfectly matches todays lightweight Buggies.
