What are the advantages to using the carbon fiber ones opposed to the stock ones? Is it worth having to go through shaving the brace? This is my first AE buggy so i'm trying to learn everything so when I build it I don't have to go back and do mods.
The C Hub makes the car feel different. It's not better or worse but it is definitely different. I feel that it gives me more all around rear bite and stability. Especially on the jumps.
It's not a big deal to do the mod and really if you are going to be racing, you should have this tuning option. I suggest having 2 U braces. One shaved, one without. it's not an expensive part and will make it easier. Plus in a jam, you can always run the other if you brake it.
