Basically I am running in a 2wd buggy and need to kill a bit of the lower end torque. The timing is at 20 degrees (it's a 7.5 motor). Temps wise it doesn't get unreasonably hot currently. I don't have a "boost" esc (sxx v1).

My question is: could I sensibly take the timing up to 30-35 degrees in this setup to try and dampen the bottom end a bit? How steep is the temp ramp when you increase timing on these?
