In practice raising the shock up there should increase steering on power because the shock is more linear...

High speed grip loss on sweepers?

Check that your ride height at center isnt so low that it's knicking the ground right at the swivel mounts.
Also might want to use black side springs (super soft). What rear tires are you using?
