Had a conversation with couple of guys about the shorty because I noticed alot of the Cali boys already bailing on them.

shorty pack = low bite track
std pack / wolfpack = high bite track

reason behind it is the shorty pack reduces the pendulam effect which kills you on slippery tracks. Conversely it's harder to drive on high bite tracks for the same reason (reacts alot quicker). I'm probably going to get one because out here in NJ, the tracks are built for 8th scales so they are rarely high bite... usually they are high concentration of land mines
