Well I found this thread and thought it would be a good place to ask a question about my novarossi. I bought a buggy and it came with this motor. I knows its a .28 but thats about it. could someone identify this exact model Nova so if i ever need to get parts I can know which ones to get. I havent ran the motor yet because the buggy needs some parts first but this motor should fire, its has alot of compression and its not gummed up or anything. It has what appears to be JB weld in between the block and the carb for some reason, not sure why.
Hard to tell exactly without having the engine in hand. However the engine appears to be one of the first gen Novarossi 528X engines. Very powerful engine, with tons of torque and speed.
You can obtain the manual from RCdocuments.com, go to Novarossi and there's a PDF you can download for the engine.
As far as the JB Weld...it's anyone's guess but I suspect the case mightve been cracked in that location. I agree with you, fuel it up and rip it.
