Centax-1 & Centax-2
I recently acquired a Veteq 2002, which uses a Centax-1 clutch (albeit with the newer screw-on gears). I would like to use a Centax-2 clutch as I like the larger bearings and different clutch shoes. It seems that the pinion gears are the same from one clutch to the other.
My concern is with the transmission spur gears... they are still original gears that are used before the new LC-II gearbox.
Can anyone tell me for certain whether or not I can use the Centax-2 clutch with the original transmission gears (pre LC-II) ?
