I would prefer the first, would rather reuse what I have since I've already got a few spare gear and seal sets. If you happen to get a good quantity discount on the complete sets and could sell them modded for around the same price as the stock kit, that would be a diffrent story
Either case, I wouldn't bother with the assembly, most guys that want that kind of mod would rather assemble themselves anyway.
