Cherry is right on the money. Let someone who is fast drive your car so they can tell you if it feels "off". Then adjust from there.
Also the biggest thing is consistancy. If you can turn every lap in the 18's, believe it or not, you are doing ok. If you are only 1 second off the pace and are able to do that every lap, then more than likely you need to tighten your lines up some. If you run mostly 22's and throw an 18 in there once in a while, then you still have some work to do

I was having issue with my buggy wanting to spin out of corners and very inconsistent lap times. I could do not better than 28 sec lap times running 17.5 nt. I asked a buddy who is one of the faster guys at the track for advise. He grabbed my remote and gave my buggy a test run. His first lap 24sec! He never once spun out of the corners. After a few laps he was down to consistent mid 23's. He then helped with a few tweeks in setup and went out again and was low 22's and a few times in the 21 sec range. I then went out was a little better at mid 27 sec to low 28 's. So I guess it's me and my noob self. I have since gotten much better and am around 25 to 26 sec. It's the indian not the arrow!
