I'm putting in my Exotek chassis and when I put the stock 14mm screws back into the chassis to connect the front and rear portions of the car I cannot get the screw in all the way. It still has a couple mm to go. I am positive I am putting in the 14mm screws. Perhaps the holes are not tapped all the way. I feel that if I try any harder I could break the screw.
Has anyone else encountered this?

I had the same issue. It just a tight fit with the different tolerances. I wiggled the 2 halves to try and line it up as best I could then used a channel lock to
slowly squeeze to parts together. It will snap right in. then you can screw it toghether. Also put a rag over the chassis to not scratch it with the channels.
