Well technically speaking the first RC I ever owned was a (Dating myself) Tyco Blaster that "Santa" brought me back in the 80's. It was the funnest toy ever and I loved that thing and drove it to pieces, literally. Then I grew up and didn't do any RCing at all until the end of last year. I went out to photograph a motocross event and saw some guys running "hobby grade" RC's on a track they had out there. A guy let me take his Slash around the track a couple of times and that was it, it was all over, I was hooked all over again.
I went out and bought a Slash right away, now I have Losi NightCrawler, a Blitz and as soon as the tax man cometh, I'll build my first kit in a FT SC10.
Best hobby ever, so glad I fell into it. Just good clean fun!
