Did you guys ever consider the possibility that they upped the price to reduce the size of the field? Its a great way to pull in the same amount of revenue while lowering fixed [per entrant] costs. Great tactic from a business perspective. One the same note they could have capped the # of entries....I don't know. I can afford it but I'm not at the level where I could justify the cost unless all the boys from the local track went and it was an excuse to hang out and get away from the wife & kids....can't put a price on good vacation/leisure time.
