What I call lock tension takes up the forces while on the track to hold the steering at full lock.
If you push gently on the tires they will come off of full lock...
You can kill servos with too much full lock force, keep an eye on it.
When I get to a track I adjust my D/R for conditions & when the groove comes up.
The more open/fast the track the less steering I tend to need & just adjust the D/R on the fly. I always know I'll never get any more steering than 100% when my D/R is 100%
