Go for it. I've heard of drivers using all ceramics too. I tried ceramic diff balls before, but went back to carbide. Ceramic diff balls are so smooth and hard (ok, laugh, I'll wait....done? ok. ha!) they cause too much slipping in the diff gear. The carbide diff balls have more grip and allow for better diff action with no slip.
for now stock, if they get gritty and wear Ill deff go carbide, ceramic made the diff hard to set right, it did slip more. Carbide is my 2wd and the diff lasts much longer..
Don't these 4wd diffs never get gritty? Whats the maintenance on the things?
