The best lap I've ever done is 13.15. I think Reinhard and Hara did 12.8somethings at this year's Reedy Race. Typically a good laptime is somewhere in the low 13 to mid-high 13's. Usually they're in the mid-high 13's to low 14's. Of course, this is with a mod motor. Evidently DJ just raised the bar a bit.

19T fastest lap is a 13.9 and it's only been done a handfull of times. Typically they're in the low 14's to high 14's.

This is with an open layout. Don't know what are good laps with a stock motor or 23T...

Use the diff covers. There will be less dirt getting in and less diff rebuilding. Besides, the diff covers do not affect the free-ness of the drivetrain as they don't ride anywhere near the bearings.
