There is a club meeting being held in the ACT at the venue for the Nationals on the 26th of February. Many people have only just become aware of this and have withdrawn their entries for the King of the Valley. Because of this we are currently considering moving the event.

Whatever decision we make its going to be the wrong decision by someone. If we move the event then we haven't fulfilled our obligations for the people who entered for the original date in good faith, and we mess around the Club Series people who have now moved events for us 4 times in 3 years. If we don't move it then we are not doing our best for our sponsors nor our top level drivers and those from Liverpool who have supported us over a long period who reasonably want a chance to race this event and get all the practice they can for the Nats. Basically this is a really sucky position for the club to be in.

By the weekend we will have a true picture of who is entering for King of the Valley and who isn't. For those coming to the Nitro-X round this weekend please feel free to come and talk to me when I arrive (which may not be first thing in the morning).

A decision about whether to move the meeting will be made following the Nitro-X round.

The front-running date for the meeting to be moved to is currently the 4th of March. But nothing is yet decided.
