I would like to upgrade my steering bellcranks and have read about the STRC kit, which everybody says good things about. I was just about to order one and now I see AVID makes one, except that their set eliminates the servo saver. It states on AVID's site that they have had no issues breaking servos but they do suggest running a metal gear servo. I have a Savox 1258TG, so I am good there, but I don't want to kill it.
It seems that in buggy, where racing etiquette is a bit better, this might be a good option, esp. since lots of guys glue their servo savers together anyway. In short course, there seems to be a lot more contact (esp. at my local track) plus the truck is a bit heavier than a buggy.
Does this sound a good idea?
BTW...I don't bash my SC10, racing ONLY!!
