This side loading increases shock shaft drag and reduces the amount of force being transferred to the tire. A lower force (downward), especially when cornering decreases tire grip. Both of the Ryans feel that our standard shock creates more side-bite than a BB, at the expense of the car not landing big jumps as well. I personally don't really think BB's are better, and we have been able to prove that they are magical (significantly faster) in any sense but there are some small advantages. I think people in general just think they need them....but we are working on our BB shocks and they will definitely be THE BEST!
What I'm gettin from this is what I believed all along about the BB shocks.
So riddle me this...
Will adjustment collars and spring cups be made available to fit the future AE BB springs on the current 1/10 scale shocks?
PLEEEEEAAAAASEEEE!!!!!!! I don't wanna put Losi parts on my AE car, It may cause bad mojo!!!!!
