There is a GXII crank sitting next to it in the garage as I type Flanno

Will run some tanks with the existing crank first so we can do a comparison, then slot the lighter modded GXII crank in for a spin.

I am running the last MG66 I had in stock, wth the GXII crank and 3 needle carb as my big event motor this year. What a beauty
Oodles of strong smooth power from start to finish. Improved bottom end pull, with the insane top of the original MG66, helped along by the better fuel delivery of the Gen6 carb. This motor has that crisp animal growl you get when everything is working in harmony. With our dry dusty track at the moment I have fitted a steel flywheel Ascendancy 4 shoe to tame the beast a little, as my throttle finger control leaves a lot to be desired when this motor is in the buggy
For anyone out there with an MG66 still in primo condition, I can seriously recommend these upgrades.
