I agree.
I run my shocks with one x-ring at the bottom of the cartridge, no boot, with bladder, and very little rebound. The shocks are much smoother to the point that I had to go up from 30/25wt to 32.5/27.5wt F/R. The truck was dumping too much with the lighter shock fluid running the shocks that way. Truck was more stable and predictable with the change. Going up .5 in shock fluid wt. would have been too much.
