Bunch of people have already done this. Peter has a car setup like this mainly for ackerman testing, and it works fine. Another one of our club racers has an entire inline car setup like this and it worked.
It's really cool what people are doing and trying now. Thinking outside of the box. I've even seen a few cars rolling at like 220-230mm wheelbase.
I think it's Serpent that has a full inline car already, the S120 or something like that? Cool stuff for sure.
