Keep the spring buckets, and toss out the rest. You need to massage the springs over the buckets, but they stay centered on the shock and don't drag as much.
Hey Craig, I had that shock rebuild kit from for my Losi Highroller laying around and decided to try a bucket out and see if it eliminated the spring rub.

It didnt seem to seat the spring properly allowing the bucket to move/swivel easily, while constantly getting uncentered. If there is an impact or tumble it seems like the spring will move excessively, rendering them less effective.

Should I tighten or shorten up a bit the shock rod ends to add more pressure to the spring, possibly eleviating my issue? Did you run into a similar problem with the cups/buckets? I did read your previous post about making sure they are centered correctly, but do they move easily to your touch?

Thanks for any input in advance.
