I had that happen to me once. The problem was the battery teminals shorted briefly and zapped the MMP board. I could plug it in afterwards and the lights would light but no sound. Would not spin the motor. Battery and motor wires got hot. I unplugged and shipped it off to Castle. I had a backup and it works perfectly fine.
The older MMP's had issues with the sensor on the board and would sometimes break off the board if you pushed the sensor plug in to hard. The newer style appears to be mounted better to the board.
I tore into it, it's definitely still on the board snug. Yup, silent arming, and warm wires. Can't believe that happened, I did not cross any wires. I am "stupid careful" about that stuff nowadays after plugging in a battery backwards last year.
I'm buying a new one tomorrow. I'm not waiting Till I get it back.
