Something else you could try is tuning down the Dual-Rate on your radio. The main track that I run at, I can run my truck at 70% dual rate and it makes the truck much more controllable, plus I still have plenty of steering to get around the one hairpin that needs a small turning radius.
I think a lot of people forget that there are settings on their radio that can help a bunch!
Thanks for that post, reminded me that I turned my expo down from 30 to 15 when I was screwing around with settings the other day, probably added to some of the extra off power steering I wasn't expecting.
