I was using a cheap 5amp charger for a while that would only charge to 8.39V. I recently bought a ProTek iCharger 208b. It can charge at up to 20Amps and you can set the end voltage. The extra bit of voltage as well as the amperage that you charge at really does seem to make a difference. I noticed a big difference in initial rip. I charged some batteries for my friends at 12Amps and 4.22V/cell and they all noticed the difference too. One of them just ordered an iCharger last night from nexusracing
