British Petroleum PR Guy: The best thing to take away from this is it's a learning opportunity for drilling oil properly.

I like how when the product fails, it becomes a learning opportunity for how to build the product better than the company that manufactures it. I am giving you crap a little, but honestly, that's the funniest damn thing I've heard in a while. I think you could easily make a Dilbert strip out of that one.
The difference there is that while you should never really have to drill your own petroleum, to keep up on your RC car, it requires shock rebuilding once in a while.

I've had shock seals leak after 1 run and some that probably would have lasted 100 if the other 3 shocks on the car didn't start leaking first. I take my time and have probably put orings in associated shocks 100 times, but in the RC racing world, its just a given that sometimes shocks let a little oil out.
