+3. I have been running CRE engines for 3 years. Never before have I seen Neal take an engine that could be considered a mild motor and do so much to it! The overall powerband is now just ballistic! It's hard to explain but it's smooth and insane at the same time, with incredible bottom end for that instant power when you need it coupled with really good runtimes, very easy to tune and the best carb on the market. For the price of this engine it is IMO the best Neal has to offer.
I am still a huge fan of the B5 and B6...... And I really do like Bonito....and the OS 25 is pretty kick ass too..... I will say I am quite surprised and very happy by how nicely the modified P5XLT is now running.....I started doing dyno testing on the P5 about a year ago now...initially I couldn't get the top end I was looking for.....I had it making all kinds of power, but it died off on the topside not matter what I did..... So I was initially a little disappointed , so I put the project on the backburner.....Well to make a long story short over the last year I made some very substantial advancements in pulling more RPM out of my engines...The P5XLT responded extremely well to these new changes and unlocked a top end I would have never thought possible from this engine a year ago.....With the changes made the engine has a more effective scavenging process, which not only increases power, it also increases the runtimes....
