a couple of days ago one of the guys I race with came over to me with his Helios. He was trying to alter the "steering" balance" but he could only make changes to the right side. When you are in the steering balance meny you rotate the steering wheel all the way to the right to make the * appear indicating that you can now make adjustments. But when he rotated the steering wheel all the wat to the left ,the * didn't appear. So he could not adjust the left side.
So I checked my Helios and it was the same!
Is there any other setting that causes this? I have adjusted the steering balance earlier but now I can only adjust one side.

Just like theisgroup stated, you must go to the function called Adjust VR. This will reset the pots in the radio. If they do not reset, then you know that you have a bad pot will need to send it in for repairs. I tell all of our pro-drivers to do this at least once a month to make sure that everything is working correctly. It is an easy way for your to calibrate the pots yourself.
