Sounds to me like it is a sensor wire connectivity problem. Check the sensor wire or try a new one. If the problem still occurs perhaps a connection on the sensor board on the motor went bad. That motor should scream the instant you pull the trigger when the sensor wire is connected like it should be. In sensorless there is a delay.
Swapped the sensor wire and the same problem occurred. Next I'm going to try swapping out for a different 17.5 motor. If that doesn't work, I'll try another ESC. Is there any way to check the sensor board, short of sending it back to the manufacturer?
