losirob-With the Surikarn motors I would stay around 12 degrees of timing. Two things I would change is to run sprint brushes and switch from medium/hard springs (come in the motor) to hard springs. This will give the motor allot more punch. Also breaking in the brushes is very important when putting new brushes in.
