I just installed them two races ago. We had high traction and it solved my excessive body roll problem and I still had plenty of rear traction. I lapped most of the field that night. I used the lightest bar and basically the box set-up.
The second race the track was not watered and it was super slick. I kept the sway bar on and still liked how the truck ran in general. I don't think it is the fastest set up for a slick track, but I didn't have time to tune out all the body roll through camber and springs/oils. I qualified first in that race (gotte hacked in the first lap) and was able to salvage second. I just had to ease onto the throttle carefully but so did everyone else.
I like the sway bar. I think moving my battery back a little will help get a bit of rear traction back on slippery conditions. Right now my battery is in the forward position and I have way too much steering anyways.
I think you can get the truck to handle without the sway, but it was exactly what I was looking for and it has made the truck way more enjoyable for me to drive.
