I tried to rotate my friend's xray diff by hand, it is very smooth, and no leakage (from their experience).
I couldn't find yokomo diff in our local shop, so I just want to make sure how smooth it is before I order it from the online store.
the yokomo is pretty good. it takes a few packs to break in -- but so does the xray gear diff. as gear diffs wear in they become smoother -- so you need to use heavier oil to get the same feel as they had when they are brand new.
running modified touring is a great way (although somewhat expensive when mistakes happen) to break in new gear diffs
