We were not involved in a lawsuit---@5 companies in the industry were sent warning letters by a CA law firm. If you manufacture in California, or even ship/sell products into CA, you cannot claim "Made in the USA" unless each and every component, down to a .001 cent resistor is made in the USA.
So even companies, such as Novak, manufacturing here for 33 years cannot advertise "Made in the USA". Therefore, we adopted the "Designed, assembled and tested by Novak in Irvine, Calif., using globally sourced components." A similar disclaimer is probably used by everyone by now.
