Same here , but the 15t is a no go. 14t and under will fit. This is what is i do . Face the backend of the truck and grab the motor with your left hand , Take your right hand and poke a finger through the opening in the motor plate and get your finger on the end of the pinon to guide it through. Also angle the end of the motor back towards the rear wheels a little. The 14t is a little snug but it definetly goes through. I run a fan on my motor so that makes it a little trickier, it still will fit through.
