Just ran the engine again with the new settings:


Bottom 1 1/2
Top 4 1/2

Tried a No. 6 & a No. 7 Novarossi plug


Engine will not idle without the glow starter on the plug.

It starts OK but when I take the glow starter off, it dies?

Idle is set high

Any suggestions?
