I use Kyosho grooved o-rings and none of my v2 shocks have leaked a drop. I've used the Trinity ones with the same results. I just ordered a bag of 100 rings from mcmaster carr and will try them next.
ive been using the mcmaster "X" o rings for a year or so in all my AE cars and they work great. like others have said, if you use two of them it does increase the stiction. what ive found is use a stock o ring in the upper location and the X ring on the bottom under the cap. no leaks and still very smooth... its the best of both worlds IMO
