The box T4.1 setup for me just doesn't have enough turn in for a tight track. Hence, I'm going to try extreme conditions: inside/inside for tower/arm locations, axle up, no washers on tower, 1-A link, #3 piston, 25 wt, 6 limiters, silver losi BB spring. I run the battery forward as is and I still need more steering.

Have you tried the inline axles/spindles? I'm not an expert in this field I have never used them but I think if I'm not mistaken by the above name I called them they should give you more turn in. If I were you I would use a really soft front suspension setup if there isn't to many big jumps which there shouldn't on that small of a track. I think softening up the front dampening will help you greatly!
