Start the engine with the base carb setting, and as you gradually take the engine to WOT, paralel to it, start opening the HSN a bit at a time until you have the engine running WOT and rich.
Whwn you go to the track, start with base setting and gradually open HSN until tou can comfortably run your car rich, but not to the point that it shuts off.
