surprised the diff fluids were so low in these setups. I finally ran my ebuggy this weekend and started with the kit 10-10-7. It felt pretty good, was thinking of even going higher for my next race.

Diff cases should be fine, I have not noticed any dirt getting into my nitro version. I use some grease on the bottom of the diff case against the chassis to create a grease gasket / seal.

No the main o-ring inside the diff case would be to keep fluid in. The little o-ring would add resistance and change how the diff would feel with different fluids. Put some grease in the channel...
