if you ever need more speed out of it look for the RS4 3 18SS bevel gears.
the stock is 38T bevel and 13T pinion. the 18 SS has 36T bevel gear and 14T pinion gear....

all I've got is a old HPI super nitro rally, no diff oil for me at all so I tend to get stuck on large lumps of grass or rocks with two wheel spinning :tire: :tire: :lol:

need a clutch bell that is just like the the pinion gear mounts of brush-less electric

the nitro clutch bells pinion's don't go high enough in teeth.
some spur gear do go plenty low enough though.

Associated AE 8.0 Engine is a .50 the steel fly wheel for that should work fine for a 4 stroke in that range.

I think gearing is the biggest problem as everything is made for a high rpm two stroke.

a metal spring horribly slow compared to pneumatics.
drag is usually reduced by rollers on the cam, rocker or, lifters

if you want to keep those RPms you'll lose torque on the more, with an over squared bore. Kinda like the F1 cars you'll need some...
