Thanks... I have tamed it down with a softer older clutch spring. Will try again, just hoping is just unprepared track being dusty and slippery during holiday period and will be better on a club day...

Any tips to tame the clutch? Running spring nut flush, 0.4mm clutch gap and 0.1mm end play. Can’t get on power it just spins out

Be a necessity with such a low oil content. The original blend Powermaster fuel we were adding castor oil to each gallon to increase total oil percentage. Guess if you aren't paying for your engines...

Yes those things are similar, but a centex clutch will reward you in reliability/consistency if you give it some tlc and check measurements etc. I also wouldn't be just leaving fuel sit in my nitro...

Serpent is more aggressive then the Xray and probably easier to get parts for.... Nitro on road seems like a niche market for Xray now with most of their team drivers concentrating on other classes.

Probably because of the OS brand quality... in my experience they are fast, reliable and hold a tune. They still struggle with 5 minute run time and did think when everyone started changing to OS...

Remove tank from chassis, loop some fuel tube between the two nipples and add some straight methanol and shake. Dump and may have to repeat a few times.

Why do you increase oil content for racing, most people would run less oil for racing over bashing.
