Yep. My experience was with the Star made RB. That thing was a missile (modded by me, it was impressive) but didn't last long enough to wear out. Suffered not one but TWO piston failures.

I used my Mugen box for 20 years. Replaced the wheel twice, batteries many times finally going to a 3s lipo, fully rewired once, the motors never failed. They were still original when I sold it.
