Oops, saw this a bit later. Before bed last night, I opened the radio. So far, everything looks perfect. Given the radio’s flawless performance in my other cars, I doubted the antenna would be at...

Very true. Sadly, the radio is far out of warranty at this point. If it was doing this with my other cars, I’d understand. But, even after taking known good receivers and electronics and installing...

Servo is.good. Given all the combinations of components and chassis I’ve tried, it seems the chassis itself could be the issue. Which is completely weird.

My next test will be swapping out the...

Hi. I’ve got a problem with my MT-4S cutting out at relatively short range, sometimes less than 40’.

I’ve tried several ESCs, motors, settings, batteries, receivers, bodies, etc. it only happens...

Sosidge! So good to see a familiar screen name. I find it very weird that Banggood selling the “same(?”) radio, tagged as DUMBORC and DUNBORC. The misspelled name even appeared in a close-up pic.

I’m looking for a clear answer to the question of “how much capacitor do I need.” Perhaps more specifically “What are the specs on the commercially available products?”

We don’t need high voltage...

I use M3 screws with generic hardware store washers under the heads. Works. Those mounting holes do look a little large.

That’s a weird oversight on Castle’s part. How is it geared normally, driven normally. Velodrome is hard on electronics. Maybe you’re overheated? 7700kv is a lot of motor.

272R Internal Ratio?

Does anyone happen to know the internal gear ratio of the 272R transmission? This is the gear ratio from the input shaft (no spur gear).

The old 272 gearbox has an internal ratio of 2.72 / 1. How...

Ways to concert your Slash for less.

I’ve found pretty much all the instructions out there are lacking in they have you buying parts you don’t need.

For example, you don’t need the Bandit caster blocks, uprights, or axles. The Drag...

I’ve seen bearings loosen up if the upright is old or has a load of use. Sometimes, (rarely) cheaper bearings can be very slightly out of spec.

Just wondering about wiring. When I ran my 1/10 pan car, I used 16ga wire. Could I use the same with my M-06? The pan car was lighter, but ran a much hotter motor - 10.5 - compared to the 21.5 in my...

I’ve used the 2850kv “crawler” combo in my Slash 4x4. It’s actually a bit overpowered for the track I ran on. Super good for even 2s bashing.
