In my experience VTA tyres get better as they wear, becoming more of a slick tyre=more grip. With the number of people not able to make the re-run, why not allow more entries. The more the merrier.

Ran my TF7 in 13.5 for the first time on the weekend. Initial experience was very positive, getting a little understeer mid corner and corner exit. Thinking of reducing rear toe by a half degree.

To maintain consistency with other events. NSW State Titles, IMCC Cup and other events have all accepted using the Ride tyre combo. Makes sense to me.

OK, I wasn't aware there was several types. All I know about these is they are the genuine Tamiya hop-up springs for the M-chassis. I'll do some more digging.

I'm running a T3 '12 in VTA, and it's a capable front runner (if I'm on my game). No need for the latest chassis in VTA, good setup and smooth driving will get you there.
