Red face Honestly I hadn't meant it to be this way, but.....

as I'm nearly finished my M03M I've just realised that even though the gear I put in it isn't top of the line, so to speak, everything I've put in the car (ex esc as that is the kit one) cost more...

Have I missed/forgotten anything?

Seeing how as I'm going to be running my xxx-cr in the NZ stock class (540 silver can) it will naturally be beneficial to try and make the drive train as efficient as possible.

I've exchanged the...

Well Tamiya are re-releasing the Hotshot  and have already released my first rc (the Subaru Brat) so that only leaves:

Associated RC10...

Post Ok, why not just a.....

belt driven 2wd?

For straight line speed I'd put my old (wish I still had it) Trackmaster (I think it was) belt driven original RC10 up against my XXX-CR any day of the week.

Well in my case it would be.....

540 stock (silver can - yes that is stock here in NZ) and when I said kit setup I should have mentioned that I meant including the tires that came in the kit.

The surface would be hard packed dirt...

Just wondering.....

has anybody tried a completely kit setup, with one exception, they used the 25dg castor blocks?

It might seems noobish to say it, but wouldn't that be the only change needed to cure the 'push' of...

I hear what you're saying but I'm only talking about stock 540 (silver can) here. In NZ that's what stock is and every little bit helps. I not yet seen a 540 so fast it was 'unforgiving'.

Edit: ...

Post Maybe it's whoever runs the car side of things at.....

Horizon and not Horizon themselves.

Example: My XXX-CR had parts missing and badly made when I got it, many emails to Losi and a few Aaron, about 3 months later it got sorted.

But.....
