Best of both worlds I'm is the tamiya cr01 chassis. I had one and it worked great. And has lots of hop ups. Might be a little pricey and is a kit. Check them out at rcmart

Can I use stickers as mask?

I'm about to paint a tamyia body and for the big stickers I want to actually paint instead. So if I apply the sticker on the reverse side and use it as a mask will it work? Or will the paint go...

F1 are pretty durable and u dont spend need to spend a lot on the chassis.

Thats why i miss the tcs series. The classes were well structured to suit your level of driving.

Tekin 17.5 redline gen1?

What's the max timing on this motor? I see where it goes from 0 up to like 12 and the notch goes a little further. I have it turned as far as it goes. I think I read 20 somewhere but not sure.
